From Small-Town Roots to Culinary Greatness

Growing up in a small town in Arkansas, I always had a love for cooking and especially for barbecue. It was part of the summer tradition where I’m from, and I knew that it was something I wanted to pursue professionally. In 2013, I decided to take a leap of faith and move to Austin, Texas with just $200.00 in my pocket to attend Le Cordon Bleu. Although it was a challenging experience, I knew that my passion for cooking would help me overcome any obstacles that came my way.

I am committed to serving the best smoked meats in town and providing an experience that is truly “glorious.” My goal is to inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter how daunting the task may seem. With hard work and determination, anything is possible, and I want to show the world that we can all be glorious!

Just had an amazing meal provided by Chef Marcus and Sous Chef Ashton. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork sandwich, hamburger, potato salad, slaw, collard greens, baked beans and special sauces to enhance the food. Great pineapple dessert. Thank you!
